I want to thank Karan Sir from the bottom of my heart. Sometimes you have all the resources but no guidance and that’s where he made the difference. Both my FRM Part 1 and Part 2 cleared in the first attempt.

Cleared FRM Part1 & Part2

The biggest help I got was from Karan Sir's FRM notes. The concepts were so well explained that I was able to attempt each question with confidence.

Karan sir's practical videos were extremely helpful in clearing FRM. Just reading theory isn’t enough; unless you know how to apply it with Excel and Python, the knowledge stays incomplete.

FRM Part 2 is about applying Part 1 tools to real risk domains - market, credit, operational/integrated risk, and investment management - and to current issues. SSEI's lectures move theory → spreadsheet application → case/problem drill, mirroring day-to-day risk work and the practical, work-like exam design. Result: you don't just "know" models; you can use them in exam-style scenarios.
- FRM focuses on risk management, derivatives, and quantitative modeling. - CFA emphasizes investment analysis, portfolio management, and equity/debt valuation. Many finance professionals pursue both, but FRM is the go-to credential if you want to specialize in risk, treasury, or regulatory finance
The time required to prepare for the exam varies depending on your background and level of experience. GARP estimates candidates typically spend around 240 hours studying.
